Anita Briem is an Icelandic actor from Iceland . Known for her portrayal as Jane Seymour , the young woman who is destined to be the third wife of King Henry VIII in the series on television The Tudors and for her character in the role of Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem began her professional career as an actress at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old.
