Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with uppercase letters in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. Half the World Away - by the Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two notable covers that the singer has created. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. It was her birthday celebration. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding a piano hidden in the attic of her home, then becoming enthralled by the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music more as a hobby than as a job. To achieve this, she began writing original compositions. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. To counter her mother's advice that people should not be aiming to become famous with their songwriting skills, she instead realize the importance of themselves and the impact they have on society. She was suggested by her mother to perform her songs publicly in order to make people aware of their own importance and how they impact the world. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family members until she was fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to become Aurora. The singer says that she simply likes to compose songs. According to her, she believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
